Love and connection are the elements that I see most in myself. For the longest time, I invested hours to create art and craft for friends and family and the price was only their happiness. To give them something that made them smile every time they look at it. I am still that person, only I now owe it to myself to connect with the world and make my creations known beyond my circle of family and friends. Being a mom and a scientist are my two other jobs that I am invested in, but this third job, creating one-of-a-kind art, is what defines me, what fills my cup, what makes me go about life and conquer all.
I don’t think I could carry on with life if I didn’t have the gift of art and creation.
